Minister of Economy and Finance meets with BP’s Vice President and Regional Officer for Mauritania and Senegal

The Minister of Economy and Finance, Sid Ahmed Ould Abouh, held talks with Mr. David Campbell, BP’s Vice President and Regional Officer for Mauritania and Senegal on Thursday evening in London. The meeting addressed the latest preparations for the imminent exploitation of natural gas from the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim field and his recent visit to the port of N’Djagu. The meeting was attended by H.E. Ba Samba Mamdou, Ambassador of Mauritania to the United Kingdom, Ms. Aissata Lam, Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency, Ms. Khadi Mint Yahya, Director of Reform Follow-up, and Ms. Khadija Mint Ahmed, Director of Public-Private Partnerships.
