On 16 September, in Nouakchott, the Minister of Finance, Mr. Isselmou Ould Mohamed M’Badi, received a delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), headed by Mr. Sultan Shaker.
During the meeting, the Minister presented the results related to updating the debt strategy in the medium term for the period between 2023-2025. This strategy shows the Mauritanian state’s ability to pay debts at the lowest cost and risk while maintaining the commitment to debt repayment.
The meeting also constituted an opportunity to review cooperation between our country and this international financial body.
