President of Republic Meets With King of Spain

On 17 March, His Excellency, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, had private talks in Madrid with His Majesty King Felipe VI, King of Spain. The talks focused on the age-old friendly relations between the two countries and the means to strengthen them in the service of the two friendly peoples. His Majesty King Felipe VI was at the head of the delegation that received the President of the Republic at the entrance to the Royal Palace of Madrid. His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, also held another meeting with the King of Spain, His Majesty Felipe VI. Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, and His Excellency Mr. Boubacar Kane, our Ambassador to Spain, attended the meeting.
