Minister of Foreign Affairs: Available information confirms the safety of members of our community in Ukraine

On 25 February, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, affirmed that the available information confirms the safety of the members of our community in Ukraine, Praise be to Allah. He stressed that their situation is being monitored at the highest level 24 hours a day. During a news briefing, the Minister explained that His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, pays particular attention to this issue and gave the necessary instructions to the authorities concerned to give it the highest priority, to ensure the safety of our fellow citizens, students and others in this country which is currently experiencing a difficult situation.
