Rwandan President Visits G5 Sahel Defense College in Nouakchott

The Rwandan President, H.E. Mr. Paul Kagame, visited Thursday the G5 Sahel Defense College in Nouakchott in the framework of his current working and friendship visit to Mauritania. This visit aimed to get a close look at the reality of this college, which embodies the political will of the group’s leaders to create an autonomous regional higher education tool that seeks to fill the shortage in human capabilities and create the optimal framework for joint action between the armies of the region to address the major security challenges in the region. The Rwandan President was received at the college by the Minister of the National Defense, Mr. Hanenna Ould Sidi, and military and security figures.
