Tourism: New Batch of Tourists Arrives in Atar

The third flight from Paris arrived, on 25 December, at Atar international airport, with 108 tourists on board, as part of the flights scheduled for the 2021-2022 tourist season. On this occasion, Mr. Mohamed Ould Soumbara, the regional director of the National Tourism Office, affirmed that all the measures that would make this season a success have been taken in coordination and cooperation with the administrative and security authorities of the wilaya, noting that this trip will be a great addition to the new tourist season. In turn, a tourist expressed her joy at coming for the first time to Mauritania, hoping to take advantage of the tourist potential of the historic towns of Wadane and Chinguitti. For her part, another tourist pointed out that Mauritania has an excellent reputation, and is a safe country, with good tourist qualifications, like Guelb Richatt, which makes it a tourist destination that attracts all those looking for fun and leisure, hoping that this expedition will be pleasant. Another tourist also expressed her happiness to have this experience in the archaeological zones of the wilaya of Adrar, with its diverse relief. The flight was welcomed at the airport by the regional director of commerce, industry, handicraft, and tourism, and representatives of the various sectors concerned.
