Petroleum Minister Receives World Bank Delegation

The Minister of Petroleum, Mines, and Energy, Mr. Abdessalem Ould Mohamed Saleh, Received, Tuesday, in Nouakchott, a delegation from the World Bank, led by World Bank’s Vice-President for Western and Central Africa, Mr. Ousmane Diagana. During the meeting, both parties discussed the partnership between Mauritania and this financial institution, particularly in the field of energy, institutional reform, investment, and capacity building. The meeting was also an occasion to discuss ways to provide energy for rural communities, in addition to the projects funded by the World Bank.
