President of Republic Returns to Nouakchott

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, returned to Nouakchott, on Monday evening, from Ouagadougou where he attended the swearing-in ceremony of the President of Burkina Faso, Mr. Roch Marc Christian Kabore for a new presidential term. Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani was greeted upon his arrival at Nouakchott International Airport-Oumtounsy by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Bilal Messoud, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, members of the government, the Chief of the Special Staff of the President of the Republic, the Deputy Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic, the Wali (governor) of Western Nouakchott and the Chairperson of the Regional Council of the capital. The President of the Republic was accompanied by an important delegation, including Messrs: – Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad; – Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lamine, Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic; – Yahya Ould Kebd, Special Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic; – Oumar Gueye, Special Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic; – El Hassan Ould Ahmed, Director General of State Protocol.
