Mauritania Participates in Arab Housing, Reconstruction Ministers’ Meeting

The Minister of Housing, Urbanism and Spatial Planning, Ms. Khadijetou Cheikh Bouke, participated, Monday, by videoconference, in the work of the 37th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Reconstruction. The agenda of the session includes the approval of several items, including the Arab Housing Conference and the celebration of Arab Housing Day, in addition to the Council of Arab Housing and Reconstruction Ministers’ Award, discussion of developments concerning the Council’s website and database design and information needed to achieve its objectives. The Arab Cooperation Council also discusses with regional groupings and foreign countries in the field of housing and reconstruction. It monitors the implementation of the global sustainable development plan for 2030 and the implementation plan of the Arab strategy for housing and urban development. It also exchanges information between Arab countries on pioneering projects in the field of housing, methods of real estate financing, legislation governing the housing and construction sector.
