President of Republic Receives Jordanian Ambassador’s Credentials

On 26 July, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, received the credentials of HE Ms. Jumana Ghunaimat in her capacity as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. The President of the Republic then received the Jordanian diplomat in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad. At the end of the meeting, the Jordanian Ambassador said she was honored to have presented her credentials to the President of the Republic as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Jordan. She added that the meeting with the President of the Republic was a great opportunity for her to convey to His Excellency the greetings of His Majesty King Abdallah II and his desire to strengthen relations between the two countries in various fields. She said that the meeting highlighted the perfect coordination on many issues between the two brotherly countries and discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them.
