Prime Minister Holds Talks withUN Special Rapporteur on Contemporary Forms of Slavery

The Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Mesaoud, held talks on Thursday with Mr. Tomoya Obokata, the UN Special Rapporteur on Contemporary Forms of Slavery. The meeting focused on ways to strengthen cooperation between Mauritania and this United Nations Organization. They also discussed Mauritanian efforts in the fight against the remnants of the contemporary forms of slavery.
