Foreign Affairs Minister Receives Phone Call From Iranian Counterpart

On 19 April in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, received a telephone call from his Iranian counterpart, Mr. Houssein Emir Abdelheyane, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Islamic of Iran. During the telephone conversation, the two ministers reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries. They expressed their will to develop and strengthen them to serve the common interests of the Mauritanian and Iranian people and the entire Islamic nation, as a whole.
