Working Session for Strengthening Mauritanian-Spanish Cooperation

On 22 March, Mr. Ahmed Ould Die, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, held a working meeting with a Spanish delegation, led by Ms. Pilar Cancela, the Spanish Secretary of State for International Cooperation, currently visiting Mauritania. During this meeting, Ms. Cancela paid tribute to the visit that His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani paid to the Kingdom of Spain and the close ties of cooperation and friendship between the two countries. She noted that Mauritania is a strategic partner of the Spanish Kingdom. The discussions between the two sides focused on the overall prospects for fruitful cooperation between the two countries and ways to promote them for the common benefit of friendly people. The Spanish delegation also paid a visit to the Mauritanian Diplomatic Academy project.
