Mauritania Participates in 109th Session of Arab Economic, Social Council

On 10 February, the work of the 109th session of the Arab Economic and Social Council began at the ministerial level in Cairo, with the participation of a Mauritanian delegation, led by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors, Mr. Idoumou Abdi Jiyid. The session is expected to examine several issues, including the holding of the summit on economic and social development, to be held in Nouakchott in 2023. The Mauritanian delegation reaffirmed Mauritania's commitment to hosting this summit, and to work, in coordination with the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, to create conditions conducive to its great success.
