President of Republic Returns to Nouakchott
The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, returned to Nouakchott on Saturday morning, after supervising the launch of the Heritage Cities festival in Wadane
The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, returned to Nouakchott on Saturday morning, after supervising the launch of the Heritage Cities festival in Wadane.
The President of the Republic was greeted at Nouakchott Oumtounsy international airport by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messaoud, the Ministers of Justice, National Defense, the Interior and Decentralization, the Chief of Particular Staff of the President of the Republic, the deputy director of cabinet of the President of the Republic, the Wali of Western Nouakchott, and the president of the Regional Council of Nouakchott.
His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani was accompanied, during this trip, by a large delegation including particularly:
- Dr. Mariem Dah, First Lady;
- Adama Bocar Soko, Minister Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Republic;
- Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad;
- Dah Ould Sidi Ould Amar Taleb, the Minister of Islamic Affairs and Original Education;
- Sidina Ould Sidi Mohamed Ould Ahmed Ely, the Minister of Agriculture;
- Naha Mint Hamdy Ould Mouknass, the Minister of Trade, Industry, Handicrafts, and Tourism;

The President of the Republic was also accompanied by a delegation of Mauritanian businessmen, led by Mr. Mohamed Zein El Abidine Ould Cheikh Ahmed, President of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers.
