APIM Director General Holds Talks With Mauritanian British Business Council Director

Mrs. Aïssata Lam, the Director-General of the Agency for the Promotion of Investments in Mauritania (APIM), received Mr. Pieter Tesch, the founding director of the British Mauritanian Business Council (MBBC), and the MBBC President, Mr. Mathhew Anderson. This meeting was an opportunity for MBBC officials to express their willingness to cooperate with APIM through the signing of a partnership agreement. This initiative is part of the investment in public-private partnership (PPP) development projects, particularly in the fields of education and water. To this end, the MBBC is requesting APIM support for its activities, particularly in its endeavor to obtain fund guarantees to implement their investment projects to contribute to development in Mauritania.
