Minister of Equipment Returns From Turkey

On 9 October, the Minister of Equipment and Transport, Mr. Mohamedou Ahmedou Mhaimid, returned to Nouakchott from Istanbul. In the Turkish metropolis, the Minister participated from 6 to 8 October, in the work of the 12th transport and communications forum. In his speech to the conference, the Minister outlined the main lines of Mauritanian policy in the fields of transport and communications. He also discussed with his Turkish counterpart the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of infrastructure, and the means enabling Mauritania to draw inspiration from the advances recorded by Turkey in the field.
