Mauritania Affirms Full Solidarity with Jordan

The Islamic Republic of Mauritania has announced its full solidarity with the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the face of anything that could undermine its unity. In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, it is stressed that Jordan's stability constitutes one of the most important guarantees for the stability of the region as a whole. Here is the full text of the statement: “Following the unfortunate events that took place in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan today, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania declares its adherence to the stability, security, and safety of Jordan, and its solidarity with it in the face of anything that can affect its unity and the choice of its inhabitants. It also declares its support for the brotherly Jordanian people under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, stressing that the stability of Jordan constitutes one of the most important guarantees for the stability of the region as a whole”.
