Mauritanian Expatriate Executives Provide Medical Aids

The adviser of the prime minister, Mr. Ba Hampaté, and Mme Ba Yahya, secretary general of the ministry of health, received, today, Friday, in Nouakchott, a batch of medical supplies, donated by the collective of Mauritanian expatriate executives This batch, composed of breathing masks for non-invasive ventilation, accompanied by protectors, including Algoplaques, Mepilex plates, and protectors to relieve patients, was submitted to the prime minister’s adviser by Mme Aïcha Limam, in charge of relations with the government and national actors, Mr. Samba Thiam, executive secretary in charge of development actions, and Mr. Moctar Lam, treasurer, in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Yezid, manager of health infrastructure. On this occasion, Mme Aïcha Limam declared that this aid supports the efforts of the Mauritanian government to contain the second wave of COVID-19. She conveyed the greetings of the members of the collective of Mauritanian expatriate executives and its executive bureau, chaired by par M. Moustapha Béchir. « the collective admires the government’s commitment in the fight against the pandemic that has caught everyone off guard”, she added. It is in this regard that the collective decided to provide this aid in urgent medicine. It has also contributed to the mobilization of expatriate Mauritanian practitioners, five of whom are already operational. The prime minister’s adviser, in charge of the reception of donations, Mr. Hampaté Bâ, thanked, on behalf of the inter-ministerial committee in charge of the management of the pandemic, the collective and pointed out that such aids fall within the framework of the collective’s commitments in the fight against COVID-19.
