On Instructions of President of Republic, Government Members Discuss Prices Situation

Some government members held a meeting, Thursday at the headquarters of the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Tourism in Nouakchott, to discuss the current prices situation and find ways to face the recent rise in prices. This meeting occurred as a response to the instructions of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, during the cabinet’s yesterday meeting. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Tourism, Mme Naha Mint Hamdy Ould Mouknass, the Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohamed Lemine Ould Dhehbi, the Minister of Oil, Energy, and Mines, Mr. Abdessalam Ould Mohamed Saleh, the Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy, Mr. Abdel Aziz Ould Dahi, , the Minister of Rural Development, Mr. Dy Ould Zein, the Minister of Equipment and Transport, Mr. Mohamed Ahmedou M’heimid, the Commissioner for Food Security, Mr. Hbib Ould Ham, the Governor of the Central Bank of Mauritania, Mr. Cheikh El Kebir Ould Taher, the General Delegate For National Solidarity and Fight Against Exclusion( TAAZOUR), Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Bouasriya, , and El Hassen Ould Zein, officer in charge of special dDuties at the Presidency of the Republic.
