President of Republic Leaves for Paris

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President in office of the G-5 Sahel, left Nouakchott, on Sunday morning, heading to Paris at the invitation of the French President, Mr. Emmanuel Macron, to participate in the World Climate Summit due to be held on 11 January 2021. The President of the Republic was greeted upon his departure from Nouakchott Oumtounsy international airport by the Prime Minister Mr. Mohamed Bilal Messoud, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic; the Minister Adviser at the Presidency of the Republic; some members of the government; the Chief of Special Staff of the President of the Republic; the Deputy Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic; the Wali (governor) of Western Nouakchott and the Chairperson of the regional council of the capital. Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani is accompanied by an important delegation comprising: -The First Lady, Dr. Mariem Mint Dah -Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad; -Mariem Bekaye, Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development -Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lamine, Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic; -Ahmed Ould, Bah, also known as Hmeyda, Adviser at the Presidency of the Republic; -Ahmed Ould Bahine, Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic; -Harouna Traore, Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic; -El Hacen Ould Ahmed, Director General of State Protocol.
