Foreign Minister Receives Japanese Ambassador

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, received, Thursday in Nouakchott, HE. Mr. Norio Ehara, Ambassador of Japan to our country. The meeting discussed the close bilateral relations and ways to further enhance them for the benefit of the two friendly peoples. The meeting was attended by Ms. Fatima Cheikhna Mohamed Ahid, Ambassador, Director of Asia and Oceania at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, and Ms. Benina Mint Mohamed Yedhih, Head of the West and Central Asia Department at the same Ministry.
